Dramanon have provided their services at numerous different types of events and their flexibility has allowed them to accommodate all kinds of requests. They have and continue to provide support and advice for seminars, conferences and events including exhibitions.
Conference ideas have ranged between running large scale performances for BP such as an extravaganza involving a ‘Back to the Future’ themed event echoing the re-merger of parts of the gas and oil businesses. For this we actually used a genuine DeLorean motorcar complete with Doc and Marty McFly.
Other conferences involved looking at the history of oil in the north sea using tales from Norse mythology with English and Norwegian actors dressed in ancient Norse costume. Other companies we have worked for include Shell worldwide, Statoil and Metronet.
Whether it has been providing a large scale performance involving live interaction and multi-media or perhaps a more intimate seminar helping smaller groups to focus on workplace processes. The input we provide is always tailored to the clients wishes.
We have been running nationwide events for the Health and Safety Executive on the dangers of exposure to workplace Noise and Vibration. This used the simple approach of forum theatre which was facilitated to help engage larger audiences.
The EEF used a talking Head style of engagement which was reminiscent of a fire side chat enabling the reality of the dilemma to come through and the issues to be debated therefore became incredibly real.
The Carillion group have employed Dramanon to run a national construction campaign for audiences around the UK. The emphasis has been on creating awareness of the need to instigate Safety Action Groups on all Carillion construction sites. The programmes used live interactive drama alongside Dramanon’s facilitation team who wandered through the audience gauging response to directed questions. This gave the audience very real ownership of the learning and clear understanding of the key messages from the conference.
The diversity of Dramanon’s work output and involvement can be gauged by comparing two recent projects. One was for The Metropolitan Police who used Dramanon to entertain and provoke discussion for their annual International Gay Police Association Conference in London. The other was The Access Industry federation who regularly use the services of Dramanon to publicise the differences, benefits and advantages of their six member groups (BLMA, IPAF, PASMA, IRATA, NASC, SAEMA) around advancing safety and best practice when working at height.
Dramanon are used to working in a variety of settings and it is this flexibility that has earned Dramanon an unenviable reputation within the business.
